Since Kiechel will begin his first desk job ever in the next month, I wanted to make him something a little special to keep on his desk. I used Picnik to color in my letters, turned out rather fun, even if I do say so myself!
We were finally able to pick up the new rug for our front room, meaning its update is almost complete. Too bad our kitchen counter tops have been delayed again. This is how our kitchen will look for the next few days. fun.
Potty training does have its funny moments- -like when you look out the kitchen window and see your little boy jumping on the trampoline with a bare bum!
This morning we spent 3+ hours on 3 different fields watching Ethan, Riley, and Mason participate in their first ever day of athletic competition. Brings a tear to a former athlete mom's eye... And yes, I realize I need a camera with greater zoom capacities, or someone to watch my nearly 1-year-old so I can get a little closer to the action.
When I was in TS visiting my family and ranch I saved a muumuu that my grandma had bought in Hawaii years and years ago, which my mother was about to purge from her closet. I brought it home and quickly reduced the size and upped the cute factor to make a dress for Riley. It should be great for summer play. Next time I'll remember to get a "before" shot.
My kids scored two Easter egg hunts this year, one at grandma and grandpa's ranch with their cousins, and a second upon returning to our home with their dad.
